Re:
Sam444, I love this post. I think following sports players is a lot of fun.

My go to when I want food I shouldn't eat is everything in moderation. So, once im a while doesn't hurt in my humble opinion. Do sorry about the cold. Perhaps use the fireplace, it really makes my house toasty. You asked if I have favorite athletes. I have a ton of favorites from my teams both current and former players. I converted one of my bedrooms into a sports/den room. On the walls I have pictures of my favorite players along with bobbleheads, signed bat of my all time favorite player Al Kaline of the Detroit Tigers. When son stopped last week he toured the room and I told him I had his baseball card from Little League, he loved it. My grandchildren are on the wall in their sports uniforms. Grandson is soccer, granddaughter is a cheerleader. My favorites in hockey are Gordie Howe, Steve Yzerman, Dylan Larkin. In basketball Richard Hamilton and Cade Cunningham, Tobias Harris and Jalen Duran. Football Amon Ra St. Brown, Calvin Johndon, Issac Teslaa, and Jahmyr Gibbs. I have many more but these always head up my list!

Yes, Cleveland, you've had more than your share of wintry mix. But you know how to handle it. Cozy room, a book to read, hot cocoa. It's do-able.

Goldiec.....
I seem to have a habit of getting more that one book going in each chair (or bed) I happen to be sitting or laying in. I've always loved to read.

Re:
CCT, I think you are right. If you had that much snow, you'd be shoveling it. Our snow is so frozen, I don't even know if we could shovel it today. We need a little bit of warm weather coming our way. I hope you enjoy your day!

Well I did not notice when I staggered out of bed this morning., That is until I opened the kitchen door and felt the Summer heat. Yes I had left the boiler on over night. I bet that cost a bob or two. Any way it was pouring with rain . Goodness knows if it was snow one would be buried.🌺

Re:
FSI, I hope we all stay warm. As if it's not cold enough, the wind is blowing. The sun is shining, but it's not warming up.

Re:
Sherri, making spaghetti and meatballs and watching movies on Netflix sounds like the perfect way to stay warm and enjoy your day.

We no longer have snow or ice, but man is it freezing! 🥶 Other than making sketti and meatballs, we plan to stay indoors and watch movies on Netflix. Stay warm and enjoy your day.

It looks like a great chunk of the country is in line for some serious snow. I hope everything goes all right.
