As far as I know, no one in my extended family has ever been to Africa for anything at all, except for one uncle by marriage who was the pits in my family history. I have no idea where my Auntie met him to begin with. His father went to Africa to run a diamond mine and took Uncle James with him. He learned to be mean and bossy and other bad traits from his father.
