You made two creative dishes. I'm not a fan of beets, but I enjoy chicken salad on rye bread. 🥪

Re: Sea G,

I think of a cloche as the cover over a plate of food being hidden before serving, like they use on SURVIVOR horrible food challenges, or in hospital meals. What does a cooking cloche look like?

I’m sure the tangine makes a good meal. It seems a bit like a cloche. I used to cook with one a lot. Your meals sound so tasty.

Re: Re: Goldiec,

Ciel, thanks for explaining about the tagine.  I had no idea.  I have to look it up and see what it looks like.

Re: Goldiec,

I think the main difference is that the crockpot can be set to maintain a temperature at a low level where the tagine can't be set low and stay low.

Re: sam444,

Lol! It's my go-to for when I might be coming across as patronizing by 'splaining things someone does already know!

Good Evening

Ciel, I've learned something new from your post.  I had never heard of a Tagine.  I always use a crock pot.  I find this cooking very interesting.  I hope you have a good night.  Stay warm.

I didn't think about you showing off at all. I was glad to gain the understanding without have to look it up. I'm going to pass it on to my daughter!
