Sherri and John, I think you will have fun with your granddaughter. She's a beautiful girl. It's nice that she's bringing her birds. It's dreary here with rain, and it's starting to get cold.

You are a wonderful grandmother. Your granddaughter being a great pet parent at 15 took me back to my son's cocktiel. He was about 14 and wanted a horse in the worst way. We told him if he took care of 'Sunshine', his bird for a year he could have a horse. At the time I thought there's no way he's going to feed and keep the cage clean, etc. I underestimated how much he loved his bird and he did it, even afterward. He got his horse.
