That was a really bad time for you. Wonderful how you have recovered so brilliantly. I have started your water advice. I suppose one should drink the best water available.

I always run ours through a filtering jug, But I have a few bottles from springs in Scotland.

Perhaps I'll try those, Maybe your water is not treated as ours is. It must be rough in some countries because I remember my S.I.L asking a foreign lady what she liked best in England. She said the water. 🌺

Wowsers, for sure a year in your life has made a huge difference, and I am so glad that you are here to share it with us. Thank you for the health and safety tips. It's sad that we have to worry about safety due to aging, but it is true. We have a few rough neighborhoods on the outskirts of Pittsburgh that are not a good place to make any stops, young or old. Thankfully, I live in a sleepy bedroom community that dates back to the 1700s. I try not to stray too far from it on most days, but we enjoy travel and going out, so I go when I have my little buddy with me. Enjoy your day. Regular smile

Good Morning

Sam444, I'm so glad that you are okay.  I especially love the water tips.  I need to get some lemons.  My neighbor said that Costco has good lemons.  The next time Caeser goes to Costco, I'm going to have him pick me up some. I learned from Taps that I need to pay attention to what I'm doing.  I thought that was such a good point, too.  I hope that you continue to be well.  I order a lot of my food, but if there's something special I need, I will send Caeser or one of my other grandchildren if they are not busy.  I've learned to be quite self-sufficient in my own way.  My kids would say I'm running the show, and for the most part, that is true.  I hope you have a good week.  It's supposed to warm up this week.  Thank goodness.  The Browns won, and Myles Garrett broke his record.  I was excited about that.

So glad you recovered. A year ago we almost lost my hubby. These are great suggestions. I rehydrate each morning and have something with Vitamin C as part of my morning routine. Then I try to incorporate as much movement as possible into my day. Hubby is not recovered as much as he’d like and much of my day is not my own right now. My MRI review suggested I go to pain management or PT. It’s a no for now. But you’re right, one have to put forth effort! 🌹

Sam444....

What a really good and helpful post....and I am so glad you were able to make it back to good health.    At 88+ plus I am learning new(to me) things that I never paid attention to before.  I have been healthy in eating and exercise all of my life and been  very fortunate but I am learning and working at one thing that never occurred to me.  Maybe I should make this a post.  LOL
