Re: Re: S G.
No worries. I recall you writing about that incident and that it happened when you were two years old. It’s most unfortunate and sad. People think little children are mindless but they know more than we sometimes think. 🌹

CCT.....
I hope that you had a hundred good memories for every bad one. I remember my Dad spanking me once, yes only once. I was four and I don't know what I did to warrant that. But it made me frightened thereafter if I thought what I was doing might n0t please him.

Re: PAT
I wish I had not mentioned this. Because it was true it took me ages to dig it out years ago and my mother helped to confirm all that happened. I wish I had not put it on here. But for a tear. 🌺

Re: SAm
No Sam It actually happened, I did ask my Mother many years ago and she confirmed that for a little while when I was just over two years old it all happened. Good luck with the .demolition work. Now, what about your Easter project? A farmhouse with little chicks and geese running around. I expect if there are any Aliens, they will think we are the nut cases.🌺🌺

Re: Kabu
Well, you seem to get over it all right. You would have to be put in a trance probably. I have had nightmares where a wolf runs across the floor, but that would not scare you.🌺🌺

It's fascinating how things from so long ago can come to the forefront of our minds.

Re: S G.
Yes I wish I had not mentioned this because it was nothing to do with my Mother. It was something that happened when I was two years old. It took me a long time to go back that far, I had to force myself past times when I poured a tin of black lead over my curls etc.
Thank you. It was only a tiny tear, I should not have mentioned it. Hope you are managing🌺🌺.

Good Morning
I really think life has a way of bringing us full circle, and we remember bits and pieces of what took place. I think sometimes this can be good because maybe we don't need to know everything, and sometimes we don't remember it the way it really was. Then again, maybe we remember it just the way it happened. I'm a firm believer that the best path is toward the future and not the past. I have seen and heard things that I did not need to know. That is okay, though, because it has made me who I am today, and I'd say I'm a force to be reckoned with on my best day, and on my worst day, I would say the same.

Hello there! I'm sorry to have caused you tears and sadness from my post. Kids hear things and though they think they understand, they do not always have the capacity yet to grasp all of the meanings of what they hear and see. We forget painful memories, repress them, to save ourselves the pain. But facing them sometimes helps us work through them to set us free. I believe your mother truly did care for you.

when I was little I knew, I had been here before, and the last time I was here, I was hung by a rope from under a tree. I would wake up in a sweat and still feel that rope. I no longer feel that rope or wake up choking but the memory has never left and I honestly believe, for whatever reason, I was hung!

Maybe your recall was from a previous life! Some memories from childhood are so vivid. I member one of my brother's asking me if I believed in aliens because he is way to into aliens for my comfort. And his question instantly took me to an encounter from my childhood when I was about 10. I blurted out, yes, because I've seen them. It was an encounter I will never forget but I put it deep into my memory bank because it was so eerie. And the next year another encounter in another state. I am an alien magnet! Lol I have not taken down any Christmas decorations yet. Around the 10th I start with the tress, then wall decorations followed by table, mantle and China hutch decorations, and finally around the end of February I will dismantle the village. I go as long as I can to keep enjoying them. This year will be a bit slower because I'm going to sell decorations I don't use any more. Plus, I'm trying to downsize in preparation for my move. How's the weather on your neck of the woods?

It's a funny thing how the mind works. It sometimes likes to play tricks on us.

No doubt you realized very quickly that was the last thing on your mother's mind. She only wanted you to thrive.
