Sea Gypsy, Thank you so much! It's very cold here. It's 10 degrees outside, but inside we are toasty warm. When I look out the dining room window, all I see is snow. Happy New Year! I hope you have a good day!

Congratulations on making your goal. I do not care for single digit temps. I'm glad you have a plan to keep warm and protect your pipes. Frozen pipes are scary! I thought about staying up for the ball drop but I go to bed at 9:45 daily so it would be a struggle to stay awake. I was at the dentist for a cleaning today and the hygienist was talking about her neighbor(s) who light fireworks and she was hoping they wouldn't overdo it. My neighborhood can get loud but a few of the families who blasted them in the past have since moved. Hopefully I won't be awakened tonight with loud blasts. I hope your Caeser's cold goes away quickly! Stay warm and cozy!

We had a slight frost this morning but then the Sun shone and it was quite nice to feel the gentle warmth. Not the usual amount of loud bangs . I think the price has a lot to do with it. The animals won't mind. I saw one Blackbird today The first for a while it must have escaped the Bird flue . It tucked into some kitten pellets perhaps they are more nourishing than some bird feed. Don't make any resolutions you can't keep. I never make any.🌺
