Reading is a great way to spend one's time...I am rooting hard for your Browns today. If they win, my Ravens have a shot at the playoffs. If they lose, we're out.

Sherri, you would smile if you saw the way Sadie is with all the dogs in the neighborhood. I love pillows. I say the more the better. My new pillows are so soft. I love them. I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Sea Gypsy, I love our tree, and the first thing I did this morning was turn it on. I've been sticking to my goal of writing a post each day in December, but some days are easier than others. I'm happy to say I'm enjoying my new book. I hope you have a great Sunday.

I like to take down my tree the day after new year, the holidays are over then. We keep everything from year to year so I like to see it all for a while.

That's great that you have a helper to clean. It was gloomy here in Pittsburgh. I love pillows, too. I have them all over our couches, in chairs and on my bed. That shrink wrap is crazy how it works. We take our tree down before the first of January, and right now it appears that Monday will be our day for Christmas cleanup. That is cute that Sadie is a little social butterfly. Stay warm and enjoy your day.

Pat, thanks for thinking of me. We have an artificial tree, and I never light the fireplace. I think it's so cool too that Sadie is so social. I hope you have a good night. It's almost New Year's Eve. Â

Your decision to keep the tree up made me think of a small newscast I saw this morning about fire safety, and how dangerous trees can be after more than a week because they dry out. I'm guessing you don't have yours next to a fireplace. It's so cool that your Sadie and the neighbors' visiting doggies got along together. I enjoy sociable dogs.
