My sister loves earrings. My favorite earrings of hers are her turtle and crab ones. I guess I like the aquatic theme.

Your family traditions are really neat and planning ahead is just plain smart. We sort of follow a pattern as well. Earrings are always a must with there being so many girls, but along with the gifts, we give everyone cash in a Christmas envelope so that they can get exactly what they want. My parents started this tradition years ago. They send us a large sum of money to be divided between us, our girls and the two grandkids. It helped us a few years ago when our hot water heater took a dump.

Hi love you read rather tired somehow so I pray you get a great sleep tonight. Jim put the telly on for me yesterday while he had a sleep. All afternoon I watched the story of the Jews and of course including the life and time of Jesus here on earth and afterwards. I really enjoyed it all. It ended with the Vatican Christmas service and of course the new Pope officiated. I started, like as a methodist and then when I lived in outback Australia the only church was the Anglican so we joined that and when I came to Canada Wiley was Catholic and Father Bill said that being Anglican was close enough for him, so I used to attend with Wiley when he was well, and Father Bill who is retired, agreed to officiate at Wiley's internment. He was such a lovely man, so I guess I am just a Christian, not involved with most of the rubbish the different denominations hang onto.

Sam444, I'm so glad that you had a wonderful celebration. I loved the gift of the Bibles for your grandchildren. I think I want to start studying my Bible again. I've been thinking about it for a while. I love the jewelry for your family. That is an awesome gift. I was going to rest today, and let me just say that did not happen. I ended up doing recycling and straightening up around here and finding places for our new Christmas gifts. One of my gifts this year from my daughter was a body pillow. It's the biggest pillow I've ever seen. It was in shrink wrap paper, and I didn't think I'd ever get it open. My grandson Caeser got me a new blanket for my bed, and it's in shrink wrap paper too. I hope it's not as hard to open as the pillow was. I hope to get a good night's sleep. I'm really tired this evening. I never got the outside lights put up because of the extreme cold, but next year I will have a plan. I'm just thankful all my kids loved their gifts and had a nice time. I put some pictures up on Facebook. I hope you have a good night.
