Lucky you. 70-degree temps are ideal for me. It sounds as though you had a really nice Christmas Day. There is no need for expensive gifts. The quality time together and a good meal is so much more memorable. We had a fairly stress-free Christmas due to everyone bringing a dish for our dinner. It was borderline potluck. All in all, a good day.

We have had a low key Christmas, just what we needed.

My Christmas tree was a poinsettia that I have had for three years and next to it I set up the Nativity Scene that we had for our boys when they were little and I enjoyed lots and lots of Christmas Music.  Early this morning not long after Christmas ended My Niece  passed away.  It was expected as she was a hospice patient but still sad.

I liked the way your christmas cane together. We broke temp records two days in a row this week. I believe one had stood since 1875.

Good Evening

I'm so glad that you and Charlie enjoyed your holiday the way you wanted it to be.  I think that is the perfect way to celebrate Christmas.  It sounds like you had a very nice day after Christmas too.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
