I had to chuckle when Hursey changed his name so to speak. He went from nickname to name and my son-in-law did the opposite, name to nickname. I think it's a vertible 'coming of age' when kids do that! The music side of it had to be a great draw fir the business. I admire Ben giving his son training in many areas!

Hursey was a child prodigy. I would love to go back in time and straight into Ben's Cafe and have the kid whip me up some breakfast. ☕

Sea- Gypsy and Kabu....

In 1937 that cute little boy  became my Daddy and with the assistance of his Dad and two Grandpa's, was always the historian of our family.

Omigod! What a delightful segment! How I loved this. I could just see little Hursel standing on his box cooking up a breakfast - and those tips! And the music! What can amazing child! What a great man he must have been!

wow, what a brilliant draw card to the Cafe!loved this segment well I love all of them of course, but this one has this cute little boy in it, one with a great charisma about him.
