It's that stressful time of the year when we wonder if our gifts will arrive on time...My dad told me his UPS driver was driving a humongous Penske truck instead of the famous brown UPS truck. It seems like there's a lot more mail/shipping in general being sent than even in the past few years.

As one who tends to be very last-minute-ish, I've reached a certain accommodation with time: The Yule Season, that strange and magic week between Christmas and New Year's, is the target date. I suspect presents that arrive after Christmas Day are just as welcome and maybe more enjoyed for not being caught up in the Great Unwrapping of the day itself!

As long as you get results… Immediate would have been nice. I feel for you. Thr post office list a bucks of family photo negatives from more then 50 years maybe 100 years of pictures when my one cousin passed. I have never received them. They went to a firmer address and the occupant let them sit in the porch until they disappeared. You will have your gifts arrive, I feel.

Good Afternoon
Sam444, I'm hoping the package arrives tomorrow. One year almost all my cards were lost in the mail and I sent out close to 100 cards. That was the year so many people lost packages and mail. The mail has gotten better, but I know they are still losing mail. My friends and family were calling and wanting to know why they didn't get a card. I felt so bad because I always sent cards. They were thinking I took them off my Christmas list. One couple we had known for years actually came over to see if we were mad at them. It was a nightmare. Now I don't send many cards. The price of stamps keeps going up, and I just decided not to send so many out each year.

Oh! dear Sam,. What a nasty dream. I do try to order from Amazon as it usually comes the next day or buy locally. It is so frustrating to do anything on the phone and the music drives one bonkers. I suppose in the old days parcels were delivered by horse. Probably quicker.🌺
