I’m glad things were good again. Hubby has a picture of a step grandfather with bushels of giant corn - it must have been from that same time when the corn was growing good. The family shot is precious. They were clearly pleased with their corn. I’m enjoying this story.

Poor Ollie. She was pregnant while still mourning the loss of her child. Life must go on though, and that is exactly what the families did.
