I understand you feeling a bit stressed. I'm feeling it too. Hope things calm down a bit.

Re: Goldiec....

Taps,  lists really help me.  As soon as I come up with an idea, I write it down.

Goldiec....

A down-falling of mine is that I have never made it a habit to make and use lists.  At one time I could manage, but in my 80's it is really hampering my output of total life practices because I mess up so often in every part of life from lack  of remembering.   I'm trying to develop the practice of making lists now but have lots of problems with being list-less.

we will have a very quiet day but not sure if all my shopping will get here before Christmas. I have Jim's things but i ordered a heating mat for mr Graysome and that isn't here yet.

I didn't mean to leave the La there. I was deleting and accidentally hit post. Oh boy. To finish the breathing it gets oxygen to the brain and it's a type of reset. I do the technique 4 times each day.

La

Last Wednesday we had fierce winds that blew the tops open on garbage and recycling bins plus blowing the empty ones over. It blew over my bears that we next to my cherry tree. They looked so sad on their sides. I would suggest when things get overwhelming to do deep breathing. You will be glad you did. Five minutes makes a huge difference. My go to deep breathing is inhale 4 seconds, hold 4 or 7 seconds or to count of 4 or 7, then exhale to count of 8.

I cannot believe Christmas is less than a week away. December is flying on by.

Re:

Pat, I have no idea what is going on with our weather, but it's certainly unusual to have such cold weather this early in the winter.

Re:

Sherri, your Mexican-themed Christmas dinner sounds delicious.  Our roads are icy, and the wind is picking up.  I hope you have a good afternoon.

The way this weather has been, I'm wondering if there isn't frost on the hinges of the gates to hell. That's a saying Mother used when it was too darn cold.

I can't believe the huge shift in the weather. I have some running to do, but not in this windy, wet, and chilly weather. My shopping and wrapping are done. All I have left to do is make my Tres Leches cake and Mexican rice for our Mexican themed Christmas dinner. We are having Mexican lasagna and enchiladas. Maybe you can get Caesar to run gramma around for those last-minute shopping needs. Stay warm and enjoy your day.
