Some things seem to be on the deferred list when it comes to renovation. I wonder if the computer age had something to do with it as well.

Old or new, I appreciate a dated library. Some of the older ones are really awesome. The Saint Chaterine's Monastery Library in Egypt has been open and is still in operation since between 548 – 565 CE. You can see a picture of it at this link: 9 Oldest Libraries in the World - Oldest.org
