A Great Reason for this Season

We often think of Christmas as only for the children. It was suddenly a great time for me when I was growing up. Whether you believe in Santa Claus, in whatever version. Or any other symbol of blessing others by giving. As children, we are naive to the source of the giving. The magic of the myth. Hopefully, you never lose that magic of belief when you grow up.

When we grow up, we receive that magic by giving instead of receiving. Some of us never discover that giving is more rewarding than receiving.

I discovered a story about a doctor in Baltimore. Previously, I shared his story of providing medical care to those who could not afford it. This year, the same Doctor was blessed to give more than medical care.

Now, I don't know if you know the legend of the Secret Santa that gives out hundreds of dollars to unsuspecting strangers. Who never shares his identity. He heard about Dr. Z. So he decided to team up with him to bless some of his patients and other members of the community. The reaction of the last recipient shown in the story. Brought me to tears. Be blessed, everyone. Perhaps we are not quite tuned in to every thing around us. Just a slight revelation at times. Yes it was a hair raiser.

Good Evening

BearcatMike, I'm always very thankful when I receive a blessing.  Last week, I said a prayer, and within one hour it was answered.  I was very thankful for the blessing that I received.  I hope you have a good night.  We are expecting more snow this evening.

Good for you. It can be frightening. I always get a sense to wait when I'm at a stop sign to turn onto a busy road. I have always felt it was a guardian angel so I completely understand your encounter.

Your angels were watching you closely at that moment. Thank goodness that driver was not speeding. Those unexpected moments on the road can be life changing. On another note, I travel 301 to 302 to get to my old stomping grounds located on the Marydel, MD/Marydel, DE. border.
