I have had an insatiable desire for knowledge my whole life. In college I took classes for myself to learn other things than just my prescribed program. I even went to other college with no intent to get a degree from them it was their offerings that caught my eye. The Lord will lead us in the way we should go if we allow Him!

We do need some kind of support. I suppose it is motivated by one's parents usually. As Kids I carved my family's Initials on the pillar of the local church. . I did confess to the new lady vicar. She laughed. Not many of the previous one's would have done so.

I've always been nosy. Studied journalism so I could write the stories I finally learned the answers to. Clearly a person's brain could not contain all the info about everything, as you explained so well in this post. But it is so satisfying at times to get THE answer to a question that lingers unanswered for too long.

I have always favored that saying, "if I knew then what I know now." It would be a life changing event for most of us if those words could come into fruition.
