Quirks that people have are tough to understand from time to time. Too bad it upset you so, to not be able to fully enjoy the compliment on you Volvo!

FSI, I really wonder what your Dad was thinking, but I'm glad he apologized. Sometimes days don't start the way we expect them to, but I'm glad that by afternoon things were back to normal.  It's freezing cold here.  I hope you are staying warm.

Dads! When they are good, they are our favorite mentors, but when they are bad, they are really bad. At least he apologized. And, yes, Volvos are nice cars, but they are a huge pain when it comes to repair time. Hopefully, your Volvo never had any issues.
