I have heard often "War is hell." It's certainly not as glorious as Hollywood makes it out to be.

Ben and Gemima had a rough go of it as many did after the Civil War ended. Obviously, the cod liver oil helped her and the move was beneficial to his health. I have heard that doctors used to tell people who had breathing problems and allergies to relocate to Arizona. I guess it really does come down to location, location, location. I really enjoyed this story. I hope you will continue with them.

Good Afternoon
Oh my! Ben and his wife went through a lot, and I give them credit for packing up everything and going to another place in hopes that life turned around for them. I felt so bad that he never saw his Mom again after he moved.
