Yes, it would be easier if there were egg trees.

Re: Sherri

It is strange last year I had six magpies they were quite tame.

This year only one very nervous one visits occasionally I have spread meal worms

on very accessible places and no sign of a bird. There are large birds flying around

they must live on road kill I don't know what else there is along now. 🦋

Re: Goldiec

I am glad I give that impression. Actually I am glad it is raining here although some houses are being proposed on flood plains. Some already are  and the occupants are already worried. I am on an old stone quarry the bottom of it and will never flood. Folk say I would love a bungalow on your land, but Archie loves working it and he has been around for 60 years.🌷

Re: Pat

Yes in the olden days I have seen kids suck birds eggs. But then kids would chew pitch and my Mother said she used to eat leaves from the Hawthorn and other plants. .  🌺

You never know what you'll locate in a tree, but I believe you achieved your goal. 🐣

CCT......

I'm glad you still make rhymes.  I used to but I have fallen by the wayside.
Wow, it is 2:47 p.m. and the sun just popped out for the first time today and then went right back behind a cloud.  It didn't even give me time to perk up a little.

Good Afternoon

I have to say, you seem very lively this afternoon.  It's almost like you have a spring in your step.  Stay warm and enjoy your day.  It's very cold here, and it's snowing again.  The Browns are playing, and the snow is coming down one flake at a time.  We are up 3, but we are only in the 3rd quarter.  I sure hope we win.

Some eggs do arrive in trees - in nests built by bluebirds or robins. Thank you for your verses - I really enjoy them. Red rose
