Thanks for sharing this story. Prejudice against Native Americans during that time made life rough. We have come a long way, but we still have many gray areas that need worked on.

That is a shame he had to live with prejudice. Talk about difficult.

It was so difficult to live with prejudice. It still is. I remember the feeling - it never leaves a person but a person can leave it.

This is an important book. We humans need all of us, to take a good look at ourselves and our prejudices and ask ourselves why! I learned humility in Hong Kong when I was just a girl travelling with my parents and again years later when I was again in the East. Both episodes showed my how lost and bewildering it is to feel hatred because of skin color.
