- Go to Lots of Frackin' Shaking Going On
Traveling in a covered wagon would have been something else, but you made do with what you had. Those earthquakes numbers are really unsettling. We have small ones in Pennsylvania, and we have fracking. It's crazy to think about what can happen when you go messing with things you shouldn't be messing with.

Re: Goldiec
I never even thought to ask my Grandma that. She was 18 when her Mom & Dad and four siblings moved to Oklahoma in two covered wagons...her Dad driving one and her two older brothers taking turns on the other. The Mom (my great-grandma) slept in one and the two teenage girls shared the other and the fellows slept out on the ground and crawled under the wagons if it rained.

I can't even imagine what it would be like moving in a covered wagon. I wonder if the wagons stayed dry when it rained?

Good Evening.
I think it's so awesome to be able to share stories with family.
