Sam444, I think you are right. I should have planned to have the lights put up when it was warmer. The problem was I didn't make up my mind to put lights up till it was already freezing cold. Next year I will make a new plan.

One thing is good, you have the lights. Next year you need to start talking to folks when it's warmer the first part of November. You might have better luck. That's what we do. You can always turn them on later. Some folks in the valley leave their lights on the house year round. Ii personally couldn't do that. Your sandwich made me hungry, lol.

It is freezing, but I have some grocery shopping to do. John asked me to make spaghetti & meatballs with cheesy bread for dinner, so off we go. Great minds think alike. We all decided on Mexican lasagna for our Christmas dinner this year, complete with all of the sides. This works for me since I am tired of turkey and ham. Stay warm and enjoy your day.
