I guess I had a similiar wonderful teenage years. I was disgruntled though because i wasn't allowed out with a boy on my own until 17 and a half.

I'm a 60's kid. Some was fun but the Vietnam war was all of high school and first two years of college. I was excited when it was over but I lost a few friends and family to the darn thing.
