I am hoping we miss Christmas this year. I am thinking of a present for Mr Graysome pussycat will be enough. We both shopped in the black friday weeks coming up to Thanksgiving so don't want for a thing.

Now that you mention it, a really good wine might jolly me up. After two days, I'm finding more and more places that hurt from my Thanksgiving day fall. The worst is my right knee and my right shoulder but the bottom of my right foot hurts from stepping on the chair roller in my stocking feet, and my right wrist hurts, but I'm exercising everything and thankful I broke no bones.

I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your day as you should have. I enjoy Christmas music too. When I was a kid, I was part of a group of Christmas carolers. People really enjoyed that sort of thing in the '70s and '80s.

Thank you Sweetie......The thing I hated so much was Grandson Phil seeing that.....He doesn't understand a lot of stuff and he greatly worries if he thinks he has hurt or that he was too strong for Grandma and he was sitting in the chair that made me fall. He looked so worried it made me want to cry but that would have made it worse for him.

I am with you on the shopping and decorating. In fact, I was joking with my daughter that I was thinking of hanging a "Bah! Humbug!" banner on my front porch. I hope the effects from your fall are gone before you know it -- and the warm memories of your holiday time with the family never fade.
