You always appear to have new ideas. I dried some Dahlias over a radiator.
Poor things, some folk like them, but I think if one wants dried flowers, it is better to go
for the original varieties. I really must start reading again. I have not watched television for nearly six months, so I thought I had better turn it on to warm it up. It is quite good how this new system checks one's work. I hope I can use it in a story that I wrote years ago when I cared for Mother. I expect it will need proofreading if I can still find it.

Goldiec.....My Mom was the friendliest person I have ever known and everyone who ever knew her loved her. Her motto was "A friend in need is a friend in deed" and she was always doing something for someone or taking them something she made (like a jar of jelly), and taking time to visit.

When we lived in Nevada, there was always the fear of hitting a cow because it is an open range state. You never knew when the cows would be in the middle of the highway. 🐮 I love Dollar Tree, but if you have a Hobby Lobby nearby, they have the best Christmas and every other holiday decorations.

Oh my, so sad when pets are not feeling well. Here's to a quick recovery. I rarely check the weather due to the desert but I did this morning because I didn't take the recycle to the curb last night. Thankfully it was in the 40's. What a nice idea to find something to be thankful for rather than just on Thanksgiving day. When the stump removal begins be ready for a huge mess in the yard especially if they are taking the roots, too. I went threw it recently but what a nice change when it's all done.
