I think when everyone is together it will work itself out. Meanwhile, you will fret because you want it to be comfortable for everyone. Try not to worry and get excited for their arrival.

You are blessed. You will have Thanksgiving with family. We are invited the following evening because of family issues. Nothing to do with me. I keep my mouth closed.

Re: Sherri.....

.....Actually I am not the worry wart.   It is my son that lives here that is the worry wart and always making suggestions and wanting to be helpful in his way (the sweetie).   Phil's Dad.   He is always worrying lest Grandson Phil will ruin thing, and all the while Phil is a Doll and no problem.

Re: Pat....

Being as how one is supposed to reserve all  the this and thats and dining rooms, and because it is on Thanksgiving Day and my family newly from Oklahoma decided to come up and bring food for eight, there are no rooms or tables left to reserve.  Leave it to the Stone family to wait until last minute decisions.

I was thinking the same thing as Pat. My mother-in-law lived in a similar setting, and her building had a main dining room where parties, bingo, and other events happened. If that isn't possible, tell them to bring a folding table and for each guest to bring a chair. Regardless of the seating, the gathering will be a fun one.

You might tell 'em to bring folding chairs with them. I'm wondering if your housing management has a guest room or part of a dining room you could use for that gathering.

Good Morning

Taps, if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it.  The family will figure it out, and it might be fun to see what they come up with.  I can't wait to hear all the details of a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner.
