Ciel......

.....It's been so long since I have seen Southern Utah in person.    This makes me want to dig  out all my old photos and spend time remembering.

Ciel.....

It sounds like winter is upon you there.  Sorry about Charlie's Dad's accident.   I hope things will be all right for him  soon.

I agree, it all could have been much worse. Bad enough, though. Yikes.

i never got really used to driving in the Canadian snow but it is compulsory to have snow tyres and they are brilliant and people work the snow ploughs constantly so actually it is worse here if we do get snow.

I'm thankful no one was hurt. Winter driving can be so hazardous! I wish you a great week, too!

Re: Pat,

As one of the few east/west routes across the country, it's often busy and full of semi trucks as well as being very up and down! Crossing Wyoming on I-80 is flatter but the high winds blowing across the open plains can be terrifying especially in winter!
His dad will be sporting a neck brace for probably months to come, and also he has no car! I recommended the Forester to him.

Wow! I've driven that route - never in snow season - and it can be scary to a driver from the flatlands even on the best days. I hope his dad recovers with no ill effects.
