I used to love the Christmas time, but have not gotten into the mood this year I am afraid.

Re:

sam444, Oh my goodness!  I would need you sitting right next to me to figure this out.  I'm not a genius when it comes to doing anything on the computer.  Thank you so much for taking the time to tell me how to do the pictures.

It's pretty easy to put pictures on your blog. The way I do is I go to my account, scroll down to add, edit pictures, click on it. Next I open a second window for Blogit,  then I click on add a picture, it takes you to choose a file, I add pictures from my phone in gallery, select the picture and it puts in the identifying tag, then click on save and add.

Then go back to the first blogit window go to add an entry,  and on the top tool bar move it to the left until you see a square with a dot and drawing that looks like an exaggerated y below the dot. Click on that insert an image comes up. Go to the second blogit window click on the pic you saved from gallery or whatever Pic is saved on phone, or you can do all this on your computer too, then highlight the info that comes up in the search bar, then control key and c, go to the insert and hit control v, then hit save and your picture will appear. Ot sounds confusing when reading but once you start it will be easy. If you need more help let me know.

Re:

CCT, I have no idea if Thanksgiving and Christmas are too close, but that's the way it's always been, so I figure it's okay.  I do love the holidays, and we are getting ready to measure the front of the house to see how long my string of Christmas lights needs to be.  I'm getting excited.

I always wonder if having Thanksgiving day so near to Christmas kind of eggs the pudding a little. 🌺

FSI, I think you are right, and it truly does make the house feel new.  I hope you have a good day.  Stay warm.

I do find it exciting to do home improvement stuff. It makes the house feel like new.

Re:

Sherri, I didn't see the bamboo dividers when I was looking for one, but I love mine too.  I think a stuffed turkey breast sounds so good.  My daughter-in-law, Laura, is Italian, and she makes excellent lasagna that she learned how to make from her Mom and Grandma.  We have it for holidays too.  Believe it or not, I have never made it.  A taco bar sounds good, and I know the kids would love that. I hope you have a good Friday.

Re:

Pat, thank you so much for the good wishes.  I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and Christmas.  I know your family will want you to be happy!  I know our holidays were different when the kids were little, but it's nice now too.  You will smile when you read that I would like to take a little time on Thanksgiving to start my new book by Janet Evanovich.  She's my all-time favorite author.  The new book is "The Recovery Agent," and I'm very excited to start reading it.  I hope you have a good day,

Good morning. It's a chilly one. I love my cutlery dividers. I bought a bamboo divider for my silverware, and plastic ones for my gadget and utensil drawers. Your Thanksgiving dinner sounds delicious. I was going to make a stuffed turkey breast, but the kids all wanted ham, so ham it is this year. We are also considering a taco bar or lasagna for our Christmas dinner. I am finding that anything goes, even though I like traditional holiday meals. 🦃

I would just like to fold my arms and nod - like a genie does - and magically have the holiday season behind me. Some folks love the decorating and shopping and all - I stress out about who wants/likes what and how to pick the right gift, etc. It was so much fun when my kids were little, and they tore open their gifts with joy... I hope your holidays are just as much fun as ever they were.
