I talked to my daughter said to try biolage hydrasourse shampoo and hydrasource detangling solution. She suggested it to her aunt and it helped her hair tremendously. Best wishes on this. She said to buy it from a salon so you know it is the real thing. A 13.5 oz. Bottle at her salon is $25 and a liter is $50. It seems expensive but it lasts for a long time.

I believe you are almost old enough to do whatever you want with your hair. Mine is still thick enough, I haven't been to a hairdresser or had it cut since Covid, not going to if I can help it.

Hats are certainly a blessing. A 💩 hat is a comical way to cover it up. Whatever works for you is what I would go with. I haven't had great hair since I was 21, so I usually wear it up in a ponytail on most days. I prepare home-cooked meals regularly, so it works for me. Nobody needs hair in their food.

I think you should do whatever you want to with your hair. It might be fun to wear different hats. Everyone will wonder what hat you will be wearing next. I think your favorite team's hat would be fun too!

Oh my. I'm going to ask my daughter tomorrow. She has a client that was much like what you described and her hair is looking great now. I just don't know what she told her to do.
