Jotting down a post relies on the mind to be operating clearly. A tummy problem or a time constraint could be a deciding factor in making one run late. A duck on a lake is a pretty image of interest, and I like viewing what others prepare for their dinner feast.

As usual, I am enjoying today's post. For some reason, your structure and rhyming put me in mind of a cherry blossom tree in early spring - branches loaded with blooms and small unfurling leaves - half as expected, half a surprise. Have a wonderful day.
