Re:

Sea Gypsy, I hope you find someone to put your lights up too. I like the term the Goldilocks Effect.  It's what it seems like.  We are toasty warm inside, and we had hot chocolate this afternoon that warmed us up. We took the dogs out, and it's been a dreary and rainy day.  I think the dogs were happy to come back inside, where it's warm.  Our Cleveland Browns lost, but it was a good game.  The NY Jets played a good game.  I hope you have a good evening.

I hope you are warm inside. I’m like you in that I can’t take it when it’s too hot and the same goes for when it’s too cold. I call it The Goldilocks Effect: we need it just right. Hope you find someone to put up lights. We need the same done here but we’ll see how everyone is doing.

Re:

Pat, I did have a cup of hot cocoa this afternoon.  It was very good.  They keep saying the snow will start later tonight.  It makes me cold just to think about it.  I complain when it's hot and I complain when it's cold.  It's just the way I am.  The Browns lost, but I will say the NY Jets played good.  The weather was terrible.  The rain was really coming down.  I felt sorry for the players and the fans.  I hope you have a good night.  Stay warm!

Re:

CCT, it's always nice to have a credit on your electric bill.  It's going to get cold here, so I'm sure my gas bill will go up.  It's so nice that you provide a warm place for the cat.  I hope your pink plants do good.  I hope you have a good night.  Stay warm!

Re:

sam444, I hope I can find someone in my family who's willing to hang lights.  The kids are busy with school and work, so I have to start thinking about who might have some free time.  It's very cold here in December too.

Re:

Sherri, we didn't have much snow last year, and I'm not sure what this year will be like.  I hope you are ready when the snow comes through your area.  Stay warm!

It's definitely hot cocoa weather around here, too. Windy and chilly and a hard freeze predicted for tomorrow - not a fan of winter and being chilled, or ice on the front steps so it's dangerous to go outside. And now I'm remembering just a couple weeks ago whining about the heat... sorry. I hope you have a cozy day and your team wins.

I am sitting here writing this and my hands are cold although I have heating on. I cannot be bothered to rig up an extra heater. I ought to I looked at my Electricity Bill and it was £700 in credit. I expect the gas bill will be a different kettle of fish. I usually heat a couple of small greenhouses as soon as the cold bites One for the cat and another to overwinter my new pink plants. I really like pinks I have had them since I was a boy on and off. Some new ones were really poor this year a good job, the firms did not ask for good comments.  🌺

I hope you don't get a lot of snow. My son-in-law tries to get my outdoor lights up in November so he can avoid the cold December. I like to start decorating early so I can take my time. Good luck to your Browns!

The snow is definitely on its way for our area, and it reminds me that I need to grab a bag of salt and dig out the snow shovel, along with the snow blower. I start thinking about Santa once I turn the calendar page to December. Right now, I am still in the Thanksgiving Day mode. Stay warm and enjoy your day. ❄️
