Great Idea, make sure you take action. Sounds like the weather is influencing your creativity. Sounds like you are headed for a fun-filled, warm weekend.

I like that concept of your story a whole lot. I hope you expand upon it.

Re:

sam444, I always have ideas for stories popping into my head.  I'm so glad Pete gets his favorite foods!  The cherry tomatoes sound good.

I think it's great you share ideas. It boggles my mind when crazy or cool ideas pop into my head.

Pete eats grain pellets, blueberries, and meal worms. The meal worms provide high protein. Jessica grows cherry tomatoes because he loves them straight from the garden.

Good morning. I plan to watch the winter wonderland movies later today while sitting in front of a crackling fire. A slice of pizza sounds good, too. 🍕 Stay warm and have a great day.

Re:

Pat, I love it!  Oh, and Pat, you were one of the writers I knew would come up with a plot!

The first thing that came to mind as I read your story outline was a plot twist. I was thinking about a grizzled hunter/trapper, well versed in primitive living, and a woman of 39 or 40 who's out on a long hike after her last child leaves for college. She takes shelter in what seems to be an abandoned cabin when a storm hits, and then he comes home with game to be cleaned and cooked, to find her puzzling over how to build a fire in the cookstove. Never mind. Go with your gut.
