In olden times when I lived closer to country than to town we used to be visited by a lovely and very polite golden retriever named Bonzo. One afternoon he and our Euki got busy playing in the mud so I brought them in and put them each in the bathroom for a shower and a shampoo. Never met Bonzo's people, but I have wondered from time to time what they thought when he came home that evening shiny clean and smelling of strawberry-scented shampoo!

Re: Good Evening Goldiec
I was told not to wash too much. My old grandmother said it removed the natural oils. Her son was a coalman he had a wash down in front of the fire. 🌺

Good Evening
I loved your words as I always do. You make me smile. I hope you are staying warm on these cold nights. A warm bath is quite comforting on a cold night.

I, for one, could use a warm bath, soft candles, a hot beverage, and a good movie on TV. 🛀

It's a gorgeous day here in middle America - maple leaves glowing gold, a faint breeze. Not a hint about the freeze warnings they're predicting for Sunday. Old saying here: Make hay while the sun shines. My plan is to save the hot cocoa for a snow day.
