Well of course a pet is always worth keeping, Years ago we had some chicken that for some reason ate a lot of long grass one could feel it in their crops. Of course no food could pass through. My Dad said I would have to cut the crops open and remove the straw. It was successful I only made a small cut and pulled the long grass out. Sewed it up and the hens began feeding showing no sign of discomfort. Times were different then.🌺

I feel that surgery is the way to go. If they can afford it, I would do it.

Oh, poor Pete! And your poor daughter and husband. It’s so stressful on you all. Here’s wishing a successful surgery for Pete and a quick, complete recovery. Yes,:ending up prayers for them. 🙏🌹
