Re: Re: Good Morning

Living out your life in the bush would have stifled you as it did me. That was when I did a correspondence class for learning how to write stories. Babies and Kangaroos were not quite enough for a gal who had already seen much of the World.Too isolated.

Re: Re: Good Morning

Hm' I did not think our Pat would be so casual and trusting. I felt really scared when you first described the meeting.🌺🌺

Re: Good Morning

To tell you the truth, I never met Sasquatch. Never saw him on any of my hikes through the hills and valleys around Salkum - which now are at the bottom of a lake created when Mill Creek was dammed a bit downstream from there some 50-60 years ago. Boys playing a prank carved feet out of an old tire and made footprints that actually got reported by a newspaper. They made fake news before it was a thing. In my story the Sasquatch turned out to be a psych professor doing research for a paper on the effects of isolation on the psyche. Plausible sounding, but total fiction.

Good Morning

I can imagine how your Mom felt when she thought there was danger in the woods.  I'm sure you were excited to get your first job in the city.  The job in the mail room was a stepping stone to your next position.  I know it was an exciting time.
