I can totally relate. Math was my weakest subject, even though now I can read a tape measure and balance a checkbook like a pro. Sarcastic smile

We have a lot in common. I didn't quite understand Algebra. But I loved Geometry. Many years after high school, I took a computer course that required Algebra. All of a sudden, it made sense. Teachers definitely can make a difference. We can rise above our past to succeed.

I had lousy teachers all through school. I wonder how i ever got through. Then years later when I went to nursing school at the University, I got wonderful marks. teachers can make such a difference.

When you talked about the stress of going up to the board it took me back to college Algebra. I don't know why my row did it, but we all felt like it was high school and we refused to go up to the chalkboard. Looking back on it. the instructor, I don't think he was a professor because we probably would have been kicked out of the class, was so stunned no one went up to the board the rest of the senester. I often wonder if we create more stress in our minds than actually exits.

When we had lectures as conscripts our biggest problem was staying awake.
