I don't like outages either. On Monday there was a planned outage and my daughter had to reschedule her salon appointments. Luckily she was able to. I would have done the same as you. You need a power bank and a reading light! LOL!

A good idea is to have a decent torch always handy. I think I have four somewhere if I can find them in the dark.🌺😊

Oh, no. Power outages are the worst, especially when they occur right after you've gone grocery shopping. The bed is a good place to be when the lights go out. A flashlight and a good book would work for me.

We get a few power outages a year where I live. Fortunately, they are very quick.
