Yes it is quite new and still has the guarantee for a few months. It was funny I looked on the insurance site and saw that I have been paying for something of which I have no reciliation .
I suspect it will be a pain to cancel it.🌺

Yes I hope it is wet, folk do not take much notice if it not suitable for drying outside
Archie now says he has enough wood stored in the greenhouses to last the sales through winter. In a way I don't like to worry him. One tends to forget that he has had treatmentÂ
that would have not been available a few years ago.🌺

Yes the prob was I had not been up to spec and had stuff like 5 pairs of trousers and vests etc. waiting for the wash that was not to be.🌺

Ciel Archie said some dahlias have too large and heavy blooms he wanted me to destroy them but they are really beautiful I really must show them next year floating, well as long as we are still floating.🌺

The more I don't resist the call of the thrift store T-shirt that fits and is a nice color, the less laundry. I could last to November 5th without having to use the washer.
As to the dahlias... Just a flower blossom floating on a pie-dish of water makes a very pretty table decoration.Â

I once washed a load of clothes in the bathtub. The wringing out part was the hardest. Thank goodness for modern conveniences.Â

I feel for you on the broken washing machine! I do like that you did not let that get in the way of clean clothes, I'm not sure I would have done that, I'd probably wait. lol

I'm sorry your washing machine broke. Hopefully, it will be up and running before too long. I hope Archie finishes the pallets soon. There will be a lot of nails to pick up. Rest and take it easy.

My Mom always said, "There's no rest for the weary!" She would Know what with seven children back in the days of no modern equipment or modern facilities.  I've never used a Washboard and grandma's lye soap in my life.

What fun it must be to run your own business ... Just kidding. It seems like more to keep track of than I'd be interested in doing at this stage. A campfire outdoors, perhaps with marshmallows to toast over the flame, sounds like a good idea on a mild evening.Â
