Re: sam444
Thank you. I've collected quotes for years. It started with something I heard and wanted to keep... and the next thing I knew, I had literally thousands of them.
As far as the grief quotes, I started collecting them. As I found some of the better ones, I began to expand on my thoughts, and the next thing I knew, I put a bunch of them together and published them as a book. They are also available as a paperback and an ebook, but I just saw that Amazon is up to its old tricks, and only showing the hardcover versions. I will have to call and talk to them.
I THINK I have 45-50 copies of both soft and hard covers, which I sell when I set up at shows and local libraries. I have about $4500 worth of my own books that I display at book clubs and such.
I also found another little deal I'm looking into. I ran the website for a local dirt track for 32 years, and I always got emails from companies trying to get to 'the boss.' My job was to 'protect the boss.' Recently, I got an email about making booklets. I called the company to see what they could do to make the batch of short stories of 12,000 to 35,000 words I have written. I'll try to remember to talk about it tomorrow or Monday.
Thanks for stopping by!
