I was happy you prefaced the poem with your thoughts. I normally avoid Donne to his conflicting depictions of women. He can be eloquent with his thoughts and then utterly misogynistic at other times. I got a greater appreciation and enjoyed the poem thanks to you! You just totally confirmed my belief that you are and will be like a brother to me.

Thank you for this. I felt quite akin to these words. Jim and I have a very happy nonphysical love we share. Way better than two oldies both being lonely.
