I have to concur that they keep you busy. I water my plants on Saturday except for my snake plants (monthly) and one other plant that is every two weeks and with spring water. I forgot to fill my pail with tap water because I let the chlorine evaporate and it's fine for my plants. Now my schedule is off, hahaha! I have 28 plants and it can be work. Lol I moved my poinsettia from the kitchen to my bedroom that has indirect light areas but in a month it began to die. I should have been like you and left it in the kitchen.

Re: Sherri....
They began as Christmas poinsettias....one three years ago, and one last Christmas. They should have some red on them before Christmas. The three year old one has the poinsettia tree shape now and is getting taller. The new red leaves will be at the end of branches....but they have to be kept inside or in Southern CA or S. America for outside.

That sounds really lovely, and you also have the grounds and trees from your windows.

I myself am not a gardener. I would probably forget to do stuff with them.

I have never seen a three-foot-tall poinsettia. You must have quite the green thumb. I have always considered them to be Christmas flowers. My mother who has a late December birthday loves poinsettias.
