What a darling this city is. And another thing, it serves people right if they lose stuff, they are lazy, just leaving stuff, lying around. I am on the cat's side, of course.

Esme is keeping the neighborhood on its toes. Very cute story.

She must be very proud to have brought you such expensive 🎁 gifts for which she must be expecting nice hugs from you.

A neighbor's cat kept bringing my Dad dead birds that it had killed.  My  Dad who  loved birds went to the neighbor and told him that if the cat didn't stop killing birds on his property that he was going to kill it.   That cat quickly became a house cat and he didn't see it anymore and the neighbor wasn't so friendly as he was.

I've never heard of anything like this. My daughter's cat brings her mice! So funny!

I once owned a cat, but she never brought home any 'treasures.' I do remember a kitty we had when I was a kid that brought little gifts home to mother, field mice, moles, etc. Our neighbors up the street have a fluffy black cat who patrols the neighborhood nearly every day - I call him Darth Vader.
