Oh, snap. I bet Sophie's guilty conscience caused her to stop breathing for a second before she realized the sailor's comment wasn't about her hidden secret. Btw, I am currently reading Navy Wife by Debbie Macomber. The plot is centered around Seattle, Navy wives, and the dangers and hard parts of living life in the Navy.
