Honestly I have never tried pumpkin probably because for so many years they were not easy to grow as our summers were too wet and chilly. Of course things have changed now but I still think most are used to make a bizarre lantern face. 🦋

I love to buy a Butternut Pumpkin and roast it with potatoes and serve it with a roast of meat.Â

Speaking of pumpkin pie....Son brought me yesterday a bag of fresh beautiful cranberries from the store.  I hadn't even realized they were in the stores yet.  I love cranberries.

You have a busy day ahead of you. I love pumpkin anything. I make pumpkin rolls, cookies, and cheesecake every fall, but my personal favorite is blueberry pie. The rain finally arrived this morning. I am loving it and the cooler weather. Enjoy your day.

I used to bake pumpkin pies every Thanksgiving for the big family dinner. It wasn't until many years later my daughter told me she and her brothers only ate it to be polite. They hated it. I could have saved myself a lot of trouble all those years and bought my favorite chocolate creme pie at the bakery. Ya live and learn, I guess. Have a great day.
