I have to disagree with your first paragraph. That is like saying all poor people receive welfare. Putting people with a particular income level into a derogatory category is highly judgmental. We make a decent living, and we donate to many causes. We have also helped homeless people, but that help can only go so far. They have to eventually find a way and not depend completely on handouts. I'm sure my comment will ruffle your feathers just as your comments regarding the rich ruffled mine. You are entitled to your opinion, but it is not factual.

I agree with your points about the nasty social changes brought about by a billionaire who ought to have known better and a chief executive who .... well, you know that as well as I do, so I'll stop. Glad to read the knee brace is helping and your routine is better today. Yay!

I believe WW11 was such a shock to the World. We tried to be better. Slowly, things improved, but it only takes three generations for everyone to forget. The Horrors and hardships are long forgotten.

Sadly there will no longer be a perfect world. I think we have had the best times.
