Re: Pat
We have cut right back now Pat. It would not pay to hire labor. Cash in hand is 20 pounds an hour. Hush! we must not tell.🌺😊

Re: Good Morning Goldiec🌺
At a last we have rain each day for nearly a week. We think all the apple crops are a month early here and we have nearly finished picking. Great the new ideas, well I have never heard of that donut. Have you ever had faggots.

I love the idea of some of the proceeds going to the hospice. They will benefit tremendously.

Good Morning
We could use some rain for our drought conditions, but it's not too bad yet. It's been days since we've had rain. Our temps are back in the 80s, and the rest of the week will be warm. I've been wanting to go to the apple orchard and get some apples. I think an apple crisp sounds good. My grandson brought home some apple cider donuts yesterday. The family enjoyed them.

Growing up, we called potato bugs roly-poly's. You know, those tiny bugs that turn themselves into a ball? As for those apples, I'd be making apple crisp and a French apple pie. 🥧

Washington state, where I grew up, was known for its apple production, along with other tree fruits. We lived for a couple of years next to a vineyard, and there was a time or two when my brother, sister and I would sample a few grapes. I think your enterprise, with the fruit trees and flower production, sounds like a lot of work but a satisfying way to make a living. I hope this year's harvest brings a profit and no aching backs. Â
