We never had homework or bicycles. or parents waiting at home'. We had to stay with an Aunt no entertainment. Just a big open fire and one decent chair which my brother always seemed to nab and me sitting on a block of wood. 🌺

Busy days for a little girl growing up, and long days as well. I had chores to do after school as well. I rode my bike to school and home.
