Well, here's the thing. Those storage units start out cheap but every few months, (not annually like most rents) they raise the rent because they look at what the market can bear. My storage unit in St. Louis has gone up from 140 to 240! I had one unit down here in Jax that tripled its rent after 3 months. Once you get behind it is hard to salvage. They also have astronomical late fees. One company charges 20% of your rent as a late fee after 4 days.

Sherri.....

.....I think that the closest I'll get to then will be your post on Bloggit.  I don't like being in an environment of like that.  Aunt Evva lived in the country and they had these auctions everytime somebody died. Only reason I went was because Aunt Evva wouldn't miss one and she was too old to go alone.  She really didn't need or want anything, she just wanted to know what secret possessions they had lived with.

Wow, things are worth real money. Maybe no family, or if family, no one who knew about the stuff.

It reminds me of a professional wrestling referee named Charles Robinson. He had over $100,000 of Hollywood memorabilia in storage. It was all stolen.

Good Morning

I love these shows.  I watch them all the time.  The things they find are amazing.  It's hard to believe people leave their treasure behind them.
