I must say that my "carrying on days are over". I couldn't do a nursing shift now if I had to. But I'm thankful for those who still do, even on weekends and holidays and especially double shifts.

I am glad to be retired these days. I don't believe I could last a full shift of nursing now.

This is a nice tribute to all of the working stiffs who keep things rolling. My hard-working hubby is laboring away at the steel mill today. On a positive note, it is a double-time-and-a half day.
